Prestigio 7600 DUO OTA Fix?

Hello,
I'm not russian, nor do I understand russian, but with the help of google translate I was able to browse this forum and fix my girlfriend's Prestigio 7600 DUO which was broken by an amateur who attempted to root it.
The instructions on this forum helped me flash a pre-rooted firmware and the phone is working just fine.
However, one small problem - the OTA updates don't work. I found in the same thread a hint on how to get it working but I can't seem to be able to "make it work".
I tried to download the 2 applications mentioned but sadly one of them (the one which is supposed to fix this) is completely in russian and I don't want to mess it up.
Does anyone know how I can fix this issue with OTA updates?
Or at least give me a link to the latest firmware for the flash tool since this phone will most likely not get updated any more, I want it to have the latest firmware...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2. root through Baiduroot or flash twrp recovery and install SuperSU (from twrp)

I flashed the phone using instructions from a thread here on the forum. I can't post the link because the forum doesn't let me do it.
The instructions were for SPFlashTool and there was a pre-rooted firmware linked in the thread.

Is the linked firmware you gave me flash-able through SPFlashTool?
Also, Baiduroot only comes in CN and RUS...
